Rwanda Wildlife Safari Tour Itinerary
Day 1
Our driver guide will pick you up from Kigali International Airport and transfer to the hotel in Kigali or drive straight to the national park. Depending on your arrival time, we can have a brief tour of Kigali City before embarking on a 2 hrs 30 drive to Musanze in northern Rwanda. Dinner and Overnight in Kigali or Musanze.
Day 2
After breakfast, report to the headquarters of Parc Nationale des Volcans (PNV) at 7am. The day starts with briefing from the authorities of the park about the activity of the day. After the briefing, we transfer to the trail head of the allocated gorilla group. Led by a ranger and park guide, set off for the trekking into the rain tropical forest covering the hills surrounding Virunga Volcanoes ranges. It is advisable that you go with plenty of water given that sometimes gorilla tracking can be a strenuous activity. After spending an hour with the gorillas, hike back to where you started from and be driven back to your hotel, Have lunch. In the afternoon, you can relax at your lodge OR go for an optional activity. Iby’wachu cultural Experience OR visit the twin lakes of Bulera and Ruhondo. Dinner and overnight at optional hotel/ lodge. i.e Five volcanoes boutique hotel, Mountain gorilla view lodge or Sabyinyo silver back lodge.
Day 3
The safari will end with Airport transfers at Kigali international airport.
