The Arumeru River Lodge offers a relaxing and peaceful setting that complements any trip to Arusha. Hatari is an award winning boutique safari lodge nestled at the foot of Mt. Meru, just outside Arusha National Park, surrounded by natural acacia bushes frequented by giraffes, warthogs and monkeys and overlooking a buffalo meadow with magnificent views of Mt. Kilimanjaro, Africa’s tallest mountain. Encompassing the former home of Hardy Kruger, co-star to the legendary John Wayne in the aptly named movie HATARI (most of which was shot in the outlying areas), and his farm manager Jim Mallory, the lodge comprises an accommodation building, main building and an adjacent administration block all built of natural materials.

Shu’mata, meaning "heaven" in the local Maasai language, is nestled on top one of the foothills of Mt Kilimanjaro, amidst the newly established Enduimet Wildlife Management Area, in the heart of Maasai land. 5 beautifully appointed East-African safari tents are set up in traditional Hemingway style bringing comfort with a true feeling of adventure and safari romance. The magnificent views from each private verandah and main area showcases the Amboseli savannah merging into the slopes of Kilimanjaro, which rises into the deep-blue African sky – it is so close that under a full moon you can even recognize the glaciers on top of the mountain.

The African Tulip is an elegant and charming luxury boutique hotel located along Serengeti Road right in the heart of Arusha. Hotel facilities include 22 standard rooms and 7 suites all en-suite, individually and stylishly decorated using warm African and Zanzibari tones, materials and local art. Mount Meru Game Lodge is a 4* colonial style facility situated in a wildlife sanctuary home to zebra, ostrich, water buffalo, birds and monkeys, halfway between Arusha town and Kilimanjaro International Airport. Guest accommodation comprises 17 comfortable and en-suite rooms (13 double with 1x super king bed or 2 x double size beds, 2 singles with 1x double-size beds, 1 inter-connected family room and 1 large triple) all built in the 60s (the oldest dates back to 1961 and is considered one of the oldest hotel rooms in Tanzania), but severally and carefully refurbished for modern comfort while, as much as possible, retaining their original character.

Kaliwa Lodge is nestled at 1400m up the slopes of Mt. Kilimanjaro near Machame Gate surrounded by coffee and banana plantations, the WeruWeru River and the Kilimanjaro rainforest. Guest accommodation comprises 10 en-suite bungalows (3 double, 2 twins, 1 triple and 4 singles) in Bauhaus style with large windows and a deck facing the lush tropical garden with views to Mt. Kilimanjaro and the rain forest. Room amenities include en-suite showers, mosquito nets on request and a reading table.

Lake Manyara Wildlife Lodge is a piece of Tanzanian history. For over 50 years, it was owned and run by the Tanzanian Government as a budget stopover for the mass African vacation market visitors. Today, it is under the ownership of private investors. The lodge combines the opulence of colonial art deco with the tiredness of a 1950s Butlin’s like holiday camp. Maramboi Tented Camp is situated in a 25,000 hectares Wildlife Management Area 18km/15mins just outside Tarangire National Park on the wildlife migratory corridor between Tarangire and Lake Manyara Accommodation facilities comprise 26 Standard Tents raised on a wooden platform under a thatch roof and 10 lodge style Suites all en-suite and private verandah and 2 Family Units. Other amenities include a main Mess Tent elevated on a wooden platform under a thatch roof with spectacular views across the rolling palm dotted grassland, a swimming pool, free WiFi in the main areas, bush sundowners, cocktails on the shores of Lake Manyara.

Migunga Tented Camp is nestled in a quiet corner northwest of Lake Manyara, in shade of a 35acres acacia forest barely 5mins from the national park gate. Guest accommodation comprises 21 semi-luxury safari tents raised platform under a makuti roof, all en-suite with a shower, flush loo, hand wash basin, mosquito nets, solar lighting and a private veranda overlooking the lush forest. All tents discretely positioned around a central glade to shade and privacy while remaining ony a short walk to the main building.

Plantation Lodge is situated in ten hectares of beautifully landscaped and forested gardens in Karatu on the slopes of the Ngorongoro highlands barely 12kms to the Ngorongoro Crater gate. The facility comprises 24 rooms and suites (15x Standard Rooms, 1x 2-bedroomed Family Unit, 7x Suites and 1x 2-bedroomed Family Suites) each one unique, individually designed and furnished with great attention to detail.

Airport Planet Lodge is a boutique type hotel in a fenced, traditional farm with many growing fruit trees, plants and flowers between Moshi and Arusha barely 8kms/8mins from Kilimanjaro International Airport and overlooking mounts Kilimanjaro and Meru. Guest accommodation comprises 25 Standard Rooms, 5 Deluxe Suites & 1 Executive Suite.
