Marangu is considered to be the oldest route on Kilimanjaro and most of the hikers who start their expedition from Arusha prefer it : because this is the only route having the huts. This s the route meant for the experienced ones.
Package Itinerary
Itinerary:-
Enjoy breakfast and then drive to Marangu village for walking tour of the waterfalls located at the foot of Mount Kilimanjaro. Then, tour the local coffee and banana plantations. The most interesting aspect of the trip is the tour of the Chagga caves which were used by indigenous Tanzanian tribes to protect themselves from Maasai warriors looking for food, water and cattle during dry season. In the afternoon, enjoy African cuisine in a local restaurant. In the evening, drive back to Arusha for dinner and an overnight.
